A driver at a checkpoint in Umm Al-Sheikh in Jizan tried to escape from the authorities, but when his car started to break down he flung open the door, leapt out and fled off into the distance. Police found his vehicle, which contained large bunches of qat, and took them away to be handed to the relevant authorities, while a security team was entrusted with the pursuit of the driver.
