Hilal and Al-Ittihad completed the lineup for the quarterfinals of the Crown Prince Cup after they swept Al-Watani and Al-Raed respectively on Sunday. At the King Khaled Sports City in Tabuk, international striker Yasser Al-Qahtani and Sweden's Christian Wilhelmsson scored for Al-Hilal to seal a 2-0 victory over Al-Watani. The win earned the Riyadh-based club a quarterfinal clash with Al-Wehdah in Makkah. The first half was warm in terms of chances on both sides' goals. Al-Hilal's poor performance pushed the home team to take a few shots from outside the box but they were not enough to threaten the defending champion.The second half saw Al-Hilal advancing through the two wings to break the tight defense of Al-Watani. In the 72nd minute, Al-Qahtani put Al-Hilal ahead after he perfectly headed a long cross into Sultan Al-Balawi net. Al-Hilal continued its pressure on the home team which failed to resist when Wilhelmsson drove from the midfield before he blast the ball into Al-Watani goal few seconds from the match. At the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, Ittihad Jeddah came from behind to beat Al-Raed 3-1 and recorded a hard win over Qassim's club. Al-Ittihad will host Al-Nasr in their quarterfinal clash in Jeddah. Saleh Abdul Hamed took an early lead for A-Raed but an own goal from defender Basim Al-Sharif made the score 1-1. After the break, Mohammed Noor and the new signing Adriano Morais scored for the home team to seal the victory. Al-Ittihad will host Al-Nasr in their quarterfinal clash in Jeddah.
