A Pakistani motorcyclist was arrested after he struck to death a 40-year-old Saudi man when he was trying to walk across a street in the downtown area near the SAPTCO bus station here Saturday evening, authorities said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not clear yet who was responsible for the deadly incident, said Col. Muhammad Al-Qahtani, chief of the Jeddah Traffic Department. The motorcyclist has been detained for further investigation, he said.
