TELEGU Kalaakshetarm and Andhra Pradesh United Society (APUS) jointly conducted a blood donation camp at the King Faisal Medical City Hospital in Riyadh recently. P. Venu Madhhav, president of Telegu Kalaakshetarm, said that over 150 Indians donated blood during the camp. Indian Embassy spokesman P. Balachandran, and Embassy official Vishnu Sharma were present at the event. Dr. Ashraf Ali, president of APUS, commended Saudi nationals for participating in the camp. The donors were screened for Hepatitis B and other ailments and were referred for shots or other treatment if needed, said Dr. Fattoh, director of the blood bank at the hospital.
