‘Shabbir Kumar Nite' in Jeddah

FAMOUS Indian film playback singer Shabbir Kumar will perform in Jeddah on Feb. 26 at the Boys Section auditorium of the International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ). The organizers, the Indian Cultural Society Jeddah (ICSJ), said the program is held on the occasion of the 60th Republic Day of India and in honor of the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. “ICSJ has traditionally hosted such functions to celebrate India's Republic and Independence days,” said Arif Quraishi, ICSJ president. This will be Kumar's second program in Jeddah by popular demand. __
