A specialist company in environmental waste management intends to build the largest hazardous waste depot in the Middle East in Dubai. Khaled Bin Abdullah Al-Bawardi, the company's executive president, said his company is specialized in collecting, analyzing and packaging hazardous solid waste and shipping it to certain areas with the objective of disposing of it according to international ecological standards. He pointed out that one of the advantages of the management of hazardous waste is that it minimizes the chance of fires resulting from the storage of chemical waste in unauthorized areas, adding that his company competes with global companies in the field. He said the company started in 2003 and is extending its service branches to more than 17 Asian and African countries, noting that the company was accredited by the UN in 2007 which allows it to tender for projects of the international organization worldwide.
