Customs officials at Salwa in Let, bordering Kuwait, foiled an attempt by a Gulf citizen to smuggle falcons. The suspicions of the officials were aroused, and upon inspection, they found four falcons hidden in the man's car. They also found several bottles of whisky in two other cars. The contraband was confiscated and the violators were handed over to the police in Salwa.
