Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) received at his office here a Polish delegation headed by Bogdan Borusewicz, speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland on Sunday. Borusewicz and Alwaleed discussed economic and social issues, among others, referring to the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Poland. They also discussed investment issues in various sectors such as banking, real estate, media and hotels. On the possibility of investment in Poland, Alwaleed said such move requires research, noting that the initiative would strengthen economic relations between the two countries. After Poland joined the European Union, it has witnessed economic growth in all sectors. Poland has become an example of a rapid economic turnaround since relatively small companies have been privatized which, in turn, positively impacted on the establishment of new private companies. Members of the delegation included Senator Leon Kieres, chairman of foreign affairs committee of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Senator Tomaz Misiak, chairman of the National Economy Committee of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, and Eugeniusz Postolski, Deputy Minister of Economy responsible for energy issues. __
