Ball Mixer bounced back from a pair of heart-breaking setbacks with nothing but fire in its eyes and vengeance in its hearts by bagging the Team of the Week award by posting 36 points through the fiery performances of Leo Edejer, who emerged as the Bowler of the Week on the 8th week of the Jeddah Thursday tilt. The league is being held at the Bowling City, Sultana Malls. The league is organized by Rally Zamora and Igna Salgado in cooperation with the Filipino Tenpin Bowlers of Jeddah (FTBJ). Edejer led in Ball Mixer squad by tallying a towering three-game series of 696. Edejer, a Class C player and equipped with 8 handicaps, had on lines 227, 224 and 221. Sharing bowling limelight with Edejer were fellow members Nap Patayan (607), Mark Hernandez (591), Nanding Siasoco (576), Dan Edbae (571) and Obie Ycasas (508). A.B.B. Contracting registered 32 points and topscoring was Bonnie Garcia with 641 points and he was followed by Johnny Diores (572), Oca Evangelista (560) and Cesar Monares (555). An identical series of 553 posted by Oca Bernabe and Ruel Santoc. Hataw-III collected 31 points and at the forefront was Rudy Punzalan with 601 points. Alex Flora poured 596 points to follow Punzalan. Sid Sagun and Jimmy Leonida carded an identical series of 589 while Willie Ansis and Rico Nery downed 568 and 552. Bulak”Bowl” through the outstanding performances of Carl Alvarado recorded 26 points. Alvarado toppled 628 series in three games. Next to him having the best output were Abet Dorado (576), Gary Misa (564), Hadi Pacheco (552), Dennis Alvarado (549) and Chas Balisalisa (525). The deadly duo of Joel Nidoy and Ed “dragonna” Cordova powered Luvenor to post 22 points. Nidoy and Cordova scored separate series of 667 and 606, respectively. Jack Jarin and Nards Hassan had 558 and 546 points to follow Nidoy and Cordova while Manny Tibay and Ferdie Coloma submitted 480 and 425. Current league leader Sarawat Supertores, mentored by Igna Salgado, posted 18 points to tighten its hold as the holder of the number one spot. Hero Garcia seared lanes to be on top in Sarawat by knocking down a series of 637, having a game high of 254 in his card. Gerry Mandanas delighted by posting 612 points while Rudy Valenzuela, Eddie Tuico and Salgado sealed separate series of 545, 528 and 501.
