Sources said the Health Affairs Administration in Taif intends to cancel the contract with an Arab doctor who has been hospitalized and is receiving treatment at Shihar Psychiatric Hospital here. The hospital treats patients with severe psychological disorders. Sources said the doctor will not be working after finishing his treatment and will be deported for his safety and the safety of the hospital's employees, patients, and visitors, especially after confirmation that the doctor had psychological disorders before coming to the Kingdom. The doctor was recruited six months ago as a general practitioner and recently suffered a psychological breakdown which required him to be hospitalized and treated, said Saeed Al-Zahrani, Taif Health Affairs spokesman.
