Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al-Zulfah, member of the Shoura (Consultative) Council, said six women consultants of the Council will likely serve as permanent members in the future. The Shoura member lectured on the Council's course and accomplishments on Friday in Mahayel Assir and defended the Council's stand towards economic issues like the price hikes and the slowdown of the Saudi stock market. He said the Shoura issued several decisions on such problems, but its role is consultative and it is up to the government to decide whether to approves or shelves implementation of these decisions.
