The San Antonio Spurs powered away early in the fourth quarter to set up a 106-100 win over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday to extend their lead atop the NBA's Southwest Division. Tim Duncan had 24 points and nine rebounds, and Manu Ginobili scored 10 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter as San Antonio moved 1-1/2 games above New Orleans in the divisional standings. The Spurs pulled away with a 10-0 run early in the fourth quarter and led the rest of the way, making their last 10 free throws to make up for a woeful start from the foul line. Ginobili was 6-for-6 from the line in the final 24 seconds and 11-for-12 in the game. Bobcats 117, Lakers 110, 2 OT: In Los Angeles, Charlotte made it five wins from six games against Los Angeles, edging the Lakers in double overtime. Boris Diaw had 23 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for the Bobcats, and reserve Shannon Brown scored five of his 14 points in the second overtime. Los Angeles got 38 points from Kobe Bryant before he fouled out for the first time this season in the final minute of first overtime. The Lakers had their four-game winning streak snapped while losing for just the fourth time in 27 home games. Magic 135, Pacers 111: At Orlando, Florida, Mickael Pietrus had 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead Orlando past Indiana in his first game in almost a month. Pietrus, who missed the previous 12 games with a broken right wrist, came off the bench to lead a well-balanced Magic attack. Seven players reached double figures scoring, including Rashard Lewis with 24 points and Dwight Howard with 22. T.J Ford, had 23 points for the Pacers and Danny Granger, who came into the game averaging 26.1 points, had only 10. Cavaliers 117, Kings 110: In Cleveland, Mo Williams strengthened his argument to be an All-Star by scoring a career-high 43 points as Cleveland pipped Sacramento. LeBron James recorded his 20th career triple-double for the Cavaliers. Williams, who is hoping to join James on the Eastern Conference team at next month's All-Star game in Phoenix, had his finest game since joining the Cavs. The point guard went 15-of-24 from the floor, made a career-best seven 3-pointers and added 11 assists and eight rebounds. James scored 23 points with 15 rebounds and 11 assists, his third triple-double this season. He picked up assist No. 10 in the third quarter with a pass to Williams, who knocked down three consecutive 3s – all off feeds from James – in a span of 1:05. Williams was so good, James only had to take 10 shots. The Kings lost their sixth straight and dropped to 0-19 against Eastern Conference teams. Nuggets 100, Grizzlies 85: At Memphis, Tennessee, Chauncey Billups scored 14 consecutive points in the third quarter and finished with 29 to lead Denver over Memphis. Billups' 14-point run allowed the Nuggets to build a 15-point lead en route to their 30th victory of the season. Denver's 30-15 record represents its second-best 45-game start in the franchise's history. In addition to Billups, the Nuggets got 20 points from J.R. Smith and 16 points from Linas Kleiza. Chris Anderson had five of Denver's 15 blocked shots, a season high.
