Man rescued after kidnap

A young man from Taif fell victim to a gang of thieves who tricked him into believing that they were giving him a free ride to Jeddah, only to steal his wallet and leave him stranded in the desert. When the man suspected his company, he called his family from his cellphone for help, but the call was suddenly cut off. The man said that he had walked across the desert for nearly 30 hours before a shepherd rescued him.
