IN solidarity with the people of Gaza, a fine arts workshop ‘Jedareyyat Alsomood' was held for five days (from Jan. 15 to 19) at the headquarters of the engineering society center in Amman. Around 50 artists from all over the world, including famed Saudi artist Ola Hejazi attended the workshop, which was organized and coordinated by Jordanian artist Mohammad Al-Jaloos. The artists collaborated on painting a 30-meter long mural. Hejazi's tableau was titled ‘SAMEDOON' and was a combination of color and the poetry of Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.
