year-old man stabbed two worshippers in a mosque in a small village, east of Ahad Masarha, after performing the Isha (evening) prayers Wednesday night, authorities said. The two men, each with stab wounds in the shoulders and back, were taken to hospital. One was treated and discharged while the other one is still receiving treatment, but is listed in stable condition. The assailant, who was later arrested, said that the two men were fidgety and were not paying attention to the prayers, causing him to lose his peace of mind and concentration. The man is believed to be mentally ill, said Capt. Ahmad Al-Wadani, spokesman of the Jizan Police Department.
