Prince Faisal Bin Khaled, Emir of Asir Region, has approved Bisha local council's recommendations to establish a new water desalination plant on the region's western coast. The plant will provide water to Bisha, Tathleeth, Majardah, Mahayel and other rural centers in the eastern part of the region. MUsaed Bin Saud Al-Tamami, Bisha Mayor, said the production capacity of the suggested station is 300,000 cubic meters daily. The areas to benefit from it are fully dependent on increasingly depleting natural resources of water.
