Ford Middle East recently recognized Al-Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co, the Ford and Lincoln importer-dealer in Saudi Arabia, for registering their highest ever sales for the Ford and Lincoln brands in the Kingdom during 2008.
The Ford and Lincoln sales in the Kingdom grew by an unprecedented 53 percent, with growth registered on both passenger cars (up by 42 percent) and the trucks and SUV segments (up by 67 percent). The best-selling nameplates were headed by Ford Crown Victoria, Explorer and Expedition. Ford posted a 23 percent growth in sales across the GCC markets during 2008.
“This is an outstanding achievement on behalf of Al- Jazirah Vehicles that deserves to be recognized and commended,” said Waldo Galan, Ford Middle East's managing director, as he presented the Ford Motor Company Excellence Award to Sheikh Abdullah Bin Fahad Al-Kraidees, AJVA's president. “Their dedication to the Ford and Lincoln business and their relentless drive for improving the sales and service experience and customer satisfaction levels as well as their strategic expansion drive throughout the Kingdom, have allowed the Ford and Lincoln customer base to further expand during last year.”
Galan added: “Congratulations to the entire Al-Jazirah Team for an outstanding performance, and we look forward to delivering our award-winning products and services to more Saudi customers moving forward.”
Receiving the award on behalf of Al-Jazirah Vehicles, Al- Kraidees said: “In the past two decades, Al-Jazirah Vehicles has carved itself a solid reputation for offering the best ownership experience of a Ford or a Lincoln vehicle in the Kingdom. Our dedication to deliver higher customer satisfaction levels has driven us at all time, and we have delivered this promise to our customers day in day out across all our branches. We thank our customers for their continued trust and confidence and I promise that Al-Jazirah Vehicles will continue to bring them superior Ford products at the best value for money, supported with the highest levels of customer service and support across the Kingdom.”
Al-Kraidees added: “On behalf of Al-Jazirah Vehicles employees, I accept this award with great pleasure and take this opportunity to thank the team for their dedication and commitment to offer the best products to our valued customers and we affirm that we will continue our commitment to deliver the best service always. I'd like to add that we wouldn't have achieved this without our customers' confidence in Al-Jazirah Vehicles and Ford Motor Company. And so, I dedicate this award to them.”
“Recently, we have invested heavily in the setup of state-of-the-art facilities in addition to running various training courses for our sales and service teams which helped us enhance our position and reach higher levels of customer satisfaction. Our success as the Middle East's largest Ford brand dealer is a reflection of our customers' confidence in us as well our products and services,” he noted. “And there is no doubt that our recent successes put greater responsibility on us to maintain our leadership in the Kingdom and to continue to offer the best products and services to our customers.” __
