The Shoura Council on Sunday approved a draft agreement between the Kingdom and Greece to avoid double-taxation. The agreement also stipulates tax evasion prevention concerning taxes on income and capital and the draft protocol accompanying it. The Council met under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman Dr. Bandar Bin Mohammad Hamzah Al-Hajjar. The session also approved a recommendation on the difference of opinion between the Council of Ministers and the Shoura Council on draft procedures of concluding international agreements. The difference of opinion between the Council of Ministers and the Shoura Council is mainly confined to three words and terms contained in the first and third articles of the original draft regulation. The Council also approved the draft protocol on the preferential tariff scheme for the trade preferential system among the member states of Organization of the Islamic Conference.
