Ittihad and Al-Nasr secured their seats in semifinals of the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Cup after edging Al-Ahli and Al-Ittifaq respectively on Thursday. Abdul Aziz Al-Sobiani scored for Al-Ittihad in the second half to seal an important 1-0 win over Al-Ahli in their Group B encounter at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah. Al-Nasr, meanwhile, with goals from Rayan Bilal and Mohammad Al-Shahrani advanced from Group D after a 2-0 victory over Al-Ittifaq at the Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam. Al-Hilal and Al-Shabab have already qualified for the semifinals after topping their group. In the semifinals Al-Ittihad will face Al-Nasr, while the Riyadh sides Al-Hilal and Al-Shabab meet in the other last four tie. The date for the semifinals will be decided later. In Jeddah, Al-Ittihad began the match in an attacking style creating a chance in the very first minute through Bou-Sharwan's shot that Al-Ahli goalkeeper Mansour Al-Najai did well to stop. That took Al-Ahli by a surprise and it took its players some time to settle down. Two minutes after the break, Ittihad's Emad Meteb headed the ball after Al-Najai failed to catch it but Masad was there to clear the ball. Abdul Aziz Al-Sobiani finally broke the deadlock in the 69th minute when he drove with the ball from outside the box to send it into the back net of Al-Najai's net. In Dammam, Rayan Belal scored in the 28th minute after an error from Al-Ittifaq goalkeeper to put Al-Nasr ahead. Mohammed Al-Shahrani doubled Al-Nasr's lead shortly after the break with a header to seal the win for the Riyadh side. The win took the team to the top of Group D with 12 points. In another match at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, Al-Shabab recorded a 4-1 win over Al-Wehdah. Abdul Aziz Al-yousif scored a brace while Abdul Aziz Al-Saran and Hassan Moaz netted one goal each for Shabab. Mokhtar Falatah scored the lone goal for Wehdah. __
