A Saudi man convicted of murder was beheaded on Thursday in Abha, in the southern part of the Kingdom, the Ministry of Interior said. Moshabab Bin Ali Al-Ahmari used a machine gun to kill compatriot Saeed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Ahmari because of a dispute between them, the ministry said in a statement carried by SPA. The execution verdict had been withheld until some of the victim's immediate inheritors reached the age of consent to either uphold the verdict or pardon the killer. It was the fifth beheading announced in Saudi Arabia since the start of 2009, while 102 were executed last year.
