Islamic Development Bank and Bosna Bank International plan to hold a joint seminar on Islamic banking. The seminar is intended for bankers, representatives of regulatory bodies, representatives of Bosnia entities and students of economics. The organizers claim that their objective is to inform people on Islamic finance and ways to finance large projects in the government sector by using the Islamic finance. Some of the presenters will be Mohammed Umer Chapra , Iqbal Khan, chief of Fire Capital London and Amer Bukvic from Bosna Bank International. In November last year, IDB gave Bosna Bank International $5 million worth credit line for Bosnia's exporting enterprises.
