Police arrested nine suspects here Sunday who confessed to being responsible for 18 pickpocketing and burglary cases. The suspects used to assault and rob workers especially workers in car shops whom they took to secluded areas to fix tires. Once there, the thieves beat the workers and stole their money. Col. Mihsen Al-Raddadi, police spokesman, said that the four first arrested led to the arrest of the remaining five during interrogations at Al-Aziziyyah police station.
