Hilal booked a spot in the quarterfinals of the Prince Faisal Cup after beating Al-Raed 1-0 at King Abdullah Stadium in Qassim on Friday. Salman Al-Moasher scored the only goal in the second half to seal the win for visitors. The win helped Al-Hilal's lead Group A with nine points. It still has one match in hand. The Riyadh side plays its last fixture in the group against Al-Hazm, which is second on four points while Al-Raed concluded its matches to finish at the bottom with one point. Al-Hilal will face the winner of Al-Shabab and Najran clash in Group C as the two sides share the top spot with six points. In the 73rd minute, Mohammed Nami droved with ball from the right side before sending a long cross toward Al-Moasher, who headed the ball into Al-Raed goal. Al-Hilal was reduced to nine players following two red cards for Mohammed Nami and Mohammed Al-Anbr, but Al-Raed failed to level the match. In the other match in Group B, Al-Ittihad drew 2-2 with Al-Watani in Tabuk. Despite the draw Al-Ittihad stays on top of group standings with seven points, just one ahead of its city rival Al-Ahli. Al-Watani is last with one point. Moroccan striker Hicham Bou Sharwan put Al-Ittihad ahead in the 41st minute but Mosa Al-Harbi equalized for the home side five minutes later from the spot.
