A high school student here punched his school's principal in the face in protest after the man insisted that students clean the classroom as the worker was absent. The student threw the punch in front of teachers and other students and said he came to the school “to learn not to clean.” The principal summoned the student's father and handed over to him his son's file to enroll him in another school, before he eventually accepted the father's apology. The father and his son both signed an undertaking and promised not to repeat the act. The principal considered the undertaking enough. “We only asked them to keep the classroom clean,” he said.
