A technical glitch in the computer network of Al-Haditha border post, 30 km west of Al-Gurayyat, on Thursday evening led to the crowding of arriving and departing passengers' vehicles in the courtyards of the border post. The long queue of trucks and buses waiting in front of the Passports Department offices extended for more than half a kilometer forcing some passengers to return to Al-Gurayyat governorate while the breakdown was being repaired. A source at Al-Haditha Border Post Passports Department said a sudden technical glitch affected the computer network for over two hours and caused the delay in completing the travelers' procedures. He said it was repaired shortly.
