Tareq Talmsani, Chairman of Jeddah Company for Urban Development which is affiliated to Jeddah Mayoralty, has denied any delay in the implementation of the Khozam Project in Jeddah. He pointed out that the survey work is under way stressing that work is going on according to schedule. Talmsani said that the development of Khozam historic area will involve a reorganization of the district aiming to improve the lifestyle of the people living in the area by offering them well-planned residential units, constructing asphalted roads and expanding the streets. Khozam historic area measures some 2.31 sq. meters, of which 40,000 sq. meters have been handed over to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) on which to build its new headquarters, Talmsani said.
