More than two million worshipers, including Haj pilgrims and visitors, thronged the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah to perform the first Friday prayers after Haj. The two Holy Mosques were full to the brim more than a couple of hours before the noon prayers. All the floors and courtyards were full of worshipers and the rows of worshipers spilled over to the streets of the central Haram area. In the Friday sermon, imams at the Holy Mosques urged the pilgrims to maintain the spirituality and religious devoutness that they have attained in Haj throughout their life. The Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques and the concerned agencies, including the Civil Defense, Haram Security Forces and the Ministry of Health made elaborate arrangements to cope with the unprecedented rush of the faithful to the Holy Mosques and enable them to perform prayers in ease and comfort. — SPA
