Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed, member of parliament and president of Jammu & Kashmir's ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said in a press conference that the proposed visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Saudi Arabia would further enhance bilateral relations to greater heights of strategic partnership. “I look forward to the visit of the prime minister of India, which has the world's third largest Muslim population, to this country very soon. The visit would further boost bilateral cooperation and the relations between the world's largest oil exporter and the country with a huge manpower resources,” she said, adding that both the governments can work together for the benefit of the people of both countries as well as for the entire humanity. Mehbooba, whose party is ruling the Jammu and Kashmir state with support from Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party, suggested that leaders of Saudi Arabia, India and Pakistan would meet together and discuss how positively they can disengage those youths who stray to deviant ideologies in these countries. She wanted peace to prevail in the Kashmir Valley as well as in all parts of the world.
