DUBAI – Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and adviser of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, met here on Sunday Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, and conveyed to him condolences of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on the death of his son Sheikh Rashid. Prince Khaled also offered his own condolence to Sheikh Mohammed. On his part, Sheikh Mohammed thanked King Salman and Prince Khaled for their noble feelings. Earlier, Prince Khaled was received by Obaid Al-Taiar, UAE's minister of state for financial affairs, Saudi Ambassador to UAE Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdurrahman Al-Bisher and a number of officials, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Meanwhile, King Salman sent a cable of condolence on the death of Sheikh Rashid to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of UAE, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, and Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, also sent similar cables of condolences to them.
