King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Recep Tayyib Erdogan, the visiting Turkish Prime Minister, discussed here on Saturday the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip leading to hundreds of deaths and thousands of injured and the destruction of various infrastructure and facilities. The two leaders also discussed the Arab, Islamic and international efforts exerted to compel Israel to cease its aggression against the Palestinian people and work to achieve a lasting and comprehensive peace in the region in accordance with the international legitimacy's resolutions and the Arab peace initiative as well as to prepare the normal conditions for achieving Palestinian unity. The discussions also dealt with prospects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing it in all fields to serve their common interests. The audience was attended by Prince Misha'al Bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of Allegiance Commission, Prince Abdulrahman Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, Prince Miteb Bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Interior Minister, and Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Foreign Minister. It was also attended by members of Erdogan's accompanying delegation and senior officials.
