MAKKAH — Three emergency camps with a combined capacity of 60,000 have been prepared by the Ministry of Finance and are supervised by the Civil Defense as part of its integrated plan for transporting, evacuating and sheltering thousands of pilgrims in Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat in cases of emergency situations. The plan, in which different government authorities are participating, comprises transporting, sheltering and providing meals to 10,000 pilgrims at one time in the holy sites, as well as taking care of their healthcare and relief service needs. The shelter camps that have been prepared include one in Al-Muaissim with a capacity of 10,000 pilgrims. The two sheltering camps in Arafat each have a capacity of 10,000 pilgrims, while the camp in Muzdalifah has a capacity of 30,000 pilgrims.
