Salman: Take care of injured pilgrims

JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman directed all sectors related to rendering services to pilgrims to take care of those injured in Friday's crane crash tragedy at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and help them perform Haj rituals.
The King was chairing the weekly session of the Council of Ministers at Al-Salam Palace here on Monday afternoon.
The King prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive all those who died in the tragedy. “We hope the best end for these pilgrims who came to this holy place for performing Haj rituals,” he said.
King Salman directed all the concerned sectors to redouble their efforts to provide the best services so as to enable the pilgrims perform their Haj rituals in ease and comfort.
The Council of Ministers offered condolences to King Salman, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman as well as the Islamic Ummah and the bereaved families on the death of pilgrims and visitors.
Minister of Culture and Information Adel Al-Turaifi said King Salman thanked the leaders of sisterly countries and all those who expressed condolences on this mishap.
Al-Turaifi said the Cabinet discussed the false and misleading accusations raised against the Kingdom's efforts pertaining to Syrian refugees. It reaffirmed that the Kingdom will always remain at the forefront of countries supporting the brotherly Syrian people and following up their suffering.
The Cabinet reiterated that the Kingdom will not accept any questioning with regards its positions in this matter.
It also highlighted the measures taken by the Kingdom since the start of the Syrian crisis. “Since the start of the crisis, the Kingdom has so far received nearly 2.5 million Syrian citizens in the Kingdom, in addition to extending support and care for millions of Syrian refugees in neighboring countries.”
The Cabinet expressed its pride for the brave and courageous soldiers who have been repelling the vicious aggression on Yemen by Houthi rebels and their supporters.
The Cabinet approved license to open the branch of Qatar National Bank in the Kingdom.
