FOXBOROUGH — Substitute Neymar scored two second-half goals to inspire Brazil to a 4-1 win over the United States here Tuesday. The Barcelona striker came on at half time with his team ahead 1-0. He quickly doubled the lead with a penalty and then grabbed his 46th international goal in 67 appearances. Brazil took the lead after eight minutes through Hulk. Brazil caused the US all sorts of problems on the wings, with Marcelo forcing Brad Guzan into two good saves from the left and Willian turning one of his best ever international performances on the right. However, it needed the brilliance of substitute Neymar to get a second goal. The Barcelona striker was fouled in the box by Geoff Cameron after 49 minutes and he stroked home the spot kick. Another two substitutes combined with some lovely football to get Brazil's third in the 63rd minute. Lucas Moura dribbled down the left wing and his through ball was controlled by debutant Rafinha, whose back heel bamboozled the US defense and gave him just enough space to flick the ball past Guzman. Neymar made it 4-0 three minutes later. Danny Williams fired home a consolation goal for the US in the final minute. Argentina draws with Mexico Lionel Messi scored with a spectacular 89th-minute volley, capping Argentina's comeback from a two-goal deficit in a 2-2 draw against Mexico in an international friendly Tuesday. Sergio Aguero beat goalkeeper Moises Munoz in the 85th minute to cut the margin. Four minutes later, Aguero lofted a 25-yard pass over defender Oswaldo Alanis as Messi timed a burst into the penalty area. Messi let the ball bounce off his chest into the air and then, while falling, poked a 7-yard shot past Munoz at the near post. With 49 international goals, Messi moved within seven of Argentina's record, set by Gabriel Batistuta from 1991 to 2002. Javier Hernandez put El Tri ahead from the penalty spot in the 19th minute after Nicolas Otamendi took down Israel Jimenez. Hector Herrera doubled the lead in the 70th with a shot that went in off goalkeeper Nahuel Guzman. Jamaica advances A stunning last-minute goal from substitute Simon Dawkins took Jamaica into the next round of the World Cup qualifiers Tuesday, destroying Nicaragua's hopes of making the fourth round of the tournament for the first time ever. Dawkins came on in the 83rd minute and then hammered home a volley from 15 yards out to give Jamaica a 4-3 aggregate win and silence the 18,000 crowd in Managua. Darren Mattocks had given the visitors the lead after 13 minutes. The Nicaraguans recorded a shock 3-2 win in Kingston last week and were going through on away goals until Dawkins struck with almost the last kick of the game. Among the other victorious teams were Haiti, which beat Grenada 3-0 to go through 6-1 on aggregate, and Canada, which qualified 4-1 on aggregate after drawing 1-1 in Belize. A goal six minutes from time was enough to give Saint Vincent and the Grenadines a one-goal aggregate win over Aruba and it will be joined in the next round by El Salvador which beat Curacao 1-0 to record a 2-0 aggregate victory. Guatemala join them after its 2-0 win against Antigua and Barbuda allowed it to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg. — Agencies
