KSA starts airlift of Gaza wounded

A Saudi air ambulance left Al-Arish airport Thursday night carrying nine Palestinians in the first batch of the wounded being evacuated from Gaza to Saudi hospitals in coordination with the Egyptian authorities, said Dr. Khalid Al-Habashi, leader of the Saudi medical evacuation team.
King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has ordered for all possible medical supplies to be rushed to Gaza via Egypt, besides medical evacuation planes to lift injured Palestinians from Al-Arish to Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The King also ordered the opening up of all Saudi referral, specialist and general hospitals to injured Palestinians, in coordination of the Ministry of Health.
