JEDDAH — The Directorate of Education in Jeddah has announced that textbooks will be delivered to all schools in the region shortly. A source from the directorate said the textbooks for primary and middle school have already been dispatched and are on their way to the schools. He, however, said the directorate was still working on dispatching textbooks for high school classes. “The directorate has conceived a strategic plan for the distribution of textbooks to ensure that all schools receive the required number of textbooks,” said the source. The source also said directorate follows up with the distribution company and makes sure all textbooks have arrived according to schedule. “There will be no shortage of textbooks. The directorate follows the requests submitted by the schools through the ministry's Noor portal,” said the source. The source warned that the distribution company would face consequences if it failed to deliver the correct number of textbooks according to schedule.
