RIYADH — Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, adviser at the Royal Court and general supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Work, signed on Wednesday a cooperation agreement with Ashok Nigam, resident representative of the United Nations Development Program in Riyadh. The agreement envisages a program to ensure food security for displaced Yemen through support to farmers, shepherds and local food producers through civil society organizations, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The program will be implemented in the Yemeni provinces of Sanaa, Abin, Taiz, Hijja, Aden and Saada. The program comes as part of the donation amounting to $274 million offered by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman in response to a plea by the United Nations in April 2015.
