It has been ‘chilly' so far, but the temperature will be hovering in the low minus due to a cold wave from Eastern Europe expected to hit the Kingdom for five days starting Thursday, said the Saudi Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) Wednesday. Northern parts of the Kingdom will register new lows of between -3 to -8 Celsius, -5 in the central regions, 0 to -5 in the Eastern Province and Najran, 12 to 15 in the Makkah Region, 2 to 6 in the Asir region and Taif, and below 8 in Madina, the PME said.
