JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the explosion at Tianjin seaport that left hundreds dead. The King expressed his deepest condolences to the president, the government and people of the People's Republic of China, and the families of the deceased, wishing the injured a quick recovery. Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, too sent a separate cable of condolences to President Xi, condoling the deaths in Tianjin. The Crown Prince expressed deepest sorrow on the explosion and offered condolences to the bereaved and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. The explosion occurred on Thursday and resulted in the deaths of dozens and injuries to hundreds. — SPA
