RIYADH — Education Minister Azzam Al-Dakhil has sent a circular to government and private schools all over the Kingdom instructing them not to allow any parent to enter classrooms during school hours. He asked the schools to assign security guards to organize parents' visits, which should be limited to meetings with principals, tutors or class teachers. The circular said no male or female parent should be allowed in classrooms in any circumstance. The visits should not extend beyond the office rooms and the guards should maintain a log of visitors with complete data, the circular said. The minister took the decision after many incidents of attacks against teachers by parents who trespassed into classrooms.
