JEDDAH — The Haj Ministry will not go back on its e-portal program for the registration of domestic pilgrims and Haj service-providing companies, the ministry's undersecretary, Hussein Al-Sharif, said. He warned that any company that refuses to register its prices and type of services in the program would not be allowed to work during this year's Haj. So far, 201 out of 240 local Haj companies have registered their services and prices. Sharif said the program is aimed at controlling the prices and uncovering fake Haj companies. Meanwhile, the Tawafa Establishment for Iranian Pilgrims said a total of 61,677 pilgrims from Iran would perform Haj this year.
