A Yemeni woman, in her late 30s, was found hanging from a rope tied to a ceiling fan in her apartment in Jamiyah District here Sunday, in an apparent suicide, police said. Her husband, who went early in the morning to his work returned home to find his wife hanging dead on the rope, reported the incident to the police. It was not clear why she committed suicide as investigations continue, said Col. Musfir Al-Juaid, spokesman of the Jeddah Police.
