RIYADH — A Saudi woman in Riyadh has died of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV), the Ministry of Health and the National Guard Health Affairs said in a joint statement. It said several members of her family tested positive for the virus. Two of the family members have been hospitalized at King Abdulaziz Medical City and another at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital. The statement said symptoms first appeared in the woman's husband, who has been suffering from multiple diseases. Earlier, he underwent an operation to remove a kidney. Investigations revealed that he had been in regular contact with camels. All of the family members who came in contact with the man were tested for coronavirus. The man's son and brother are both receiving medical care.
