TAIF — The annual Souq Okaz festival will start in Taif next Wednesday with the participation of men of letters, intellectuals, poets, academics, artists and traditional craftsmen from all over the Kingdom and abroad, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman will patronize the opening ceremony, it said. Makkah Emir Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Souq Okaz, said the King's patronage of the event comes as an extension of his support for intellectual activities in the country. — SPA
