JEDDAH — The Ministry of Labor has warned citizens and other clients against dealing with unlicensed recruitment offices and said they should approach offices registered with the ministry's Musanid website for recruitment of domestic workers, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Abdullah Al-Olayyan, director general of the ministry's branch in Makkah Province, said the ministry launched the Musanid website for the issuance of work visas for domestic workers online. He said this step aimed to facilitate and expedite procedures, decrease paperwork and ensure transparency. The official said online transactions would protect the rights of prospective employers, who can process their requests without visiting recruitment offices or the ministry's branches. Al-Olayyan said the ministry's branch in Makkah has made all electronic services available in its offices along with employees to assist customers. He advised customers to keep their personal information secret and not to allow anyone to tamper with and exploit their data. — SG/SPA
