Benz and McLaren are reinterpreting the SLR legend and adding the crowning glory to their highly successful SLR super sports car model family with a new and uncompromising car named after a motorsport legend. The SLR Stirling Moss, with its light carbon fiber body, is fitted with a 650 hp V8 supercharged engine that hits 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h. No other series-production car is at the same time so open and so fast. The exclusive SLR Stirling Moss is limited to 75 units and will be available from the middle of 2009.
