Expect more stand storms, the Civil Defense said Wednesday, advising motorists to drive cautiously as visibility would be poor. Dust storms accompanied by strong winds of up to 30-40 kph hit most parts of Saudi Arabia earlier this week, blowing down trees, billboards, electricity poles and corrugated roofs. The Civil Defense urged the public to check its website and that of the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment so as to be alerted on the precautions to be taken before venturing outdoors.
