Al-Rajhi Bank, a gold sponsor of the “Open Employment Day” organized by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM )and supported by key organizations and institutions from both private and public sectors, said the bank is offering employment opportunities to KFUPM students. The “Open Day for Employment” is an annual event organized by KFUPM in the Eastern Province for its students and alumni to showcase employment opportunities for graduates as well as providing coop training and summer training programs, the bank's Public Relations and Communications director said. Moreover, the “Open Day' aims at keeping the participants informed on the university's capabilities and programs to fulfill the needs of both the private and public sector in terms of employment as well as actively take part in the development of the workforce. Ibrahim Bin Yousef Al-Malik, Public Relations and Communications director, said that the objective of Al-Rajhi Bank's participation in the “Open Day” is to recruit exceptional students to join the ranks of its some 8,000 employees. He underscored the importance of supporting and sponsoring these types of activities, which are part of the bank's social responsibility and is in line with the direction that calls for the cooperation of organizations and institutions to support human resources development,” Al-Malik added. “This inevitably will contribute to the growth and prosperity of the nation since human resources is the primary supporter of development,” he pointed out.
