Saudi Gazette report MADINAH — More than 750 flights will leave from the newly launched Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah next week carrying foreign Umrah pilgrims returning home, an airport official said on Saturday. Ahmad Sharqawi, deputy general manager at Tibah Company for Airport Operations, said the period for pilgrims returning to their home countries will begin on July 12 (Ramadan 25) and last until July 31. Tibah Company is responsible for the operation of the airport, the first in the Kingdom to be built and run with private sector participation. "The airport's ground staff is ever ready to help passengers with anything they need to ensure them a comfortable flight,” said Sharqawi. He said the busiest day would be the day of Eid Al-Fitr. “Tibah has coordinated with all government departments to ensure the operation plan will run smoothly,” said Sharqawi.
