US envoy all praise for Hijazi heritage

US Consul General in Jeddah Todd Holmstrom visited the heritage festival Ramdanana Kida (Our Ramadan Was Like This) in the historic district of Balad in Jeddah Friday night. Abdullah Bin Dhawi, director of local Affairs at Jeddah Governorate and president of the executive committee of the festival, received the diplomat and briefed him on the overall activities of the festival, which aims to revive the memory of the people of erstwhile Hijaz.
