JEDDAH — Three young men won the first three prizes in the First Jeddah Contest for Tourism Photography. They were selected from 300 photographers who participated in the contest and presented 350 photographs under the auspices of the Tourism Development Council in Jeddah in cooperation with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Urban Heritage. The contest was sponsored by Okaz Organization for Press and Publication. A picture of Jeddah Corniche by photographer Muhammad Al-Olayyan won the first prize. He won the chance to participate in a photography festival in Paris with all expenses paid. A picture of Historical Jeddah by Hussein Al-Ahdal won the second place and Thamer Al-Faraj won the third place. They respectively received SR10,000 and SR5,000 in cash prizes.
